When it comes to boating, it’s hard to beat calm waters, pleasant weather, and a line in the water. The quiet satisfaction of fishing is enough for some, while others want the noisy fun of speedier watercraft. Whatever you’re after, we’ve got a boat for you. With the right accessories and upgrades to specialize your experience to what you want, you’ll find it difficult to find better deals and a friendlier atmosphere!

Shallow Waters

For shallow waters, you’ll probably want a flat-bottom hull typical of small open boats. They’re great for fishing in small lakes, ponds, and slow-moving rivers, where their stability can be utilized to full effect. The broad bow area can create a rough ride when in transit, but their general utility, ease of use, and plentiful selection of options, upgrades, and accessories make them great choices for a multitude of uses.

Center Console

Center console boats also have an open hull design but include a console located in the center of the deck. Some models have cabins with a small berth for sleeping, but the important part is that the duck surrounds the console so a crewmember can walk around from stern to bow. Center consoles are great for sports fishing and work in offshore waterways where there’s plenty of ocean fish.

Cuddy Cabin

These boats are great for fishing, yachting, sailing, and other watersports. Their closed deck over the bow allows for tons of storage and easy navigation. While the cuddy cabin itself isn’t too big, it serves as a sleeping berth and possibly other tightly packed amenities. Cuddy boats are popular for boaters who want some shelter and a bit of storage but don’t want to spend money on a full cabin boat.

Offshore

Sometimes called deep sea or open water boats, these vessels are designed to face the full fury of the ocean — and that makes them perfect for deep sea fishing! The open ocean is a lot more dangerous than inshore or even coastal waters, and it will require a lot more out of the angler as well. Fortunately, offshore boats are much larger than their inshore counterparts. Their construction is sturdier so they can take more punishment from harsh ocean weather and water conditions.
